Video: Nokia N900 web browsing in portrait mode

Main thing about PR 1.1 firmware update is in switching between landscape and portrait mode. Yes, finally we got it but in lite version because switching works only in browser. This is great thing to wide range users who using N900 especially because of its excellent web browsing capabilities. Enter the browser and only hit Ctrl + shift + O to turn on, you can easily turn off this behavior by again pressing Crtl + shift + O.

We are hoping that full portrait mode will available soon.

   For some weared reason this doesn’t work for me.
   Would you know any possible reason for that? what could I be doing wrong?
   (yes I have the latest firmware).

   I don’t know it’s working for me all the time. Make sure you are typing Crtl + shift + O while you are in the browser. Shift button is in the lower left corner. Tell us result after you try this, it must work

   This didn’t work for me in PR1.1 either.

   PR1.1.1 seemed to fix it though.
